Volunteering

With our councils at both County and City level strapped for cash, creating an Accessible Wells is reliant on the efforts of many volunteers.

If you share our ambitions to make Wells a place disabled people feel included, safe and welcome and you would like to help us make that vision a reality, we’d love to hear from you.

We have a choice of many mini-projects you could join in on.  You can take a look at what we are up to in the section headed Improvement projects.  Alternatively, you might be interested in helping us gather information, or perhaps help us gather feedback through surveys to check what progress we are making.  Or, you have some ideas or observations you’d like to share – whatever, we’d be very pleased to hear from you.

We especially welcome and very much need volunteering input from people with physical disabilities – especially those who are challenged by getting around our beautiful City.
