Wells Tourist Office
The Wells Tourist Information Centre (TIC) is situated within the Town Hall building on the Market Place. The entrance is to the left of the Town Hall main entrance. It is open from 9am to 3pm from Monday to Saturday, with the exception of public holidays.
The staff are passionate about the service they give and what is on offer to both visitors and locals. They have attended nearly all the tours on offer so their advice is well informed.
There is a small shop which stocks some items that are locally produced & hand made.
Allied to the TIC are a number of Wells Meet & Greet Ambassadors. These are local volunteers who regularly meet and greet visitors offering information, advice and free maps around the city centre. They can be seen wearing clearly marked, navy-blue gilets with named lanyards and handing out maps around Wells.
